Turn a Blender viewport into a photoreal render
Adds a VotexArch tab to the 3D Viewport sidebar. One button renders the viewport as it looks on screen, uploads it to your workspace and opens the tab you chose — so the photoreal pass happens in VotexArch instead of in a render queue.
Renders the active viewport to a PNG, uploads it to your VotexArch workspace and opens the tab you picked.
A viewport render, not F12. A full Cycles or EEVEE pass would take minutes and produce the very thing you came here instead of waiting for, so this uses the same capture as Blender’s own Viewport Render Image. It borrows the scene’s output settings for the capture and puts them back, so your own render settings are left exactly as you had them.
Getting it installed
- 01
Install the add-on
Edit → Preferences → Add-ons → Install from Disk, pick the downloaded zip, then tick VotexArch in the list.
- 02
Open the sidebar
Press N in the 3D Viewport. There is now a VotexArch tab with one button; the command is also under View if you would rather bind a shortcut.
- 03
Send the view
Choose where to save the PNG and which workspace tab to open. The first time, sign in through the browser that opens and click the button once more — after that it is a single click.
Before you start
Newly released. This was built against Blender’s documented Python API rather than tested inside a live Blender install, so treat your first run as the real test — if something misbehaves, send us the error from the system console and we will correct it.
No Blender to hand?
Every tool works by uploading an image directly — the plugin only saves you the trip.
